Darya and Johan’s Wedding at Borgo Sant’ Ambrogio
A two-day celebration in Tuscany, bringing together Darya Zozulya, founder of Mysecretavenue, and Johan Klevenstedt for a wedding filled with beautiful details, Italian traditions, and unforgettable moments. From a relaxed sunset pizza party dressed in shades of yellow to an elegant wedding day defined by rich burgundy tones, lush greenery, and romantic floral arrangements, every part of the celebration was thoughtfully designed to reflect the couple’s style and create a memorable experience for their guests.
We had the pleasure of organizing the entire celebration, taking care of every detail, from the overall concept and design to the atmosphere, entertainment, and guest experience, creating two distinctive days that came together in one beautiful wedding weekend.
Day One: A Sunset Pizza Party in Yellow
The celebrations began with a relaxed yet beautifully styled pizza party at sunset, where yellow became the color of the evening. A long white table, decorated with yellow flowers and fresh lemons, set the scene for an outdoor Italian dinner surrounded by the warmth of a Tuscan summer evening.
Several food and drink stations brought the experience to life, including a pizza truck, a drinks truck, and a gelato cart. Guests could watch fresh pizzas being prepared right in front of them, while live music added to the laid-back atmosphere. A fun and informal way to welcome everyone to Tuscany, combining authentic Italian food, beautiful details, and the joy of gathering around one table.
Day Two: A Romantic Burgundy & Green Wedding
For the wedding day, the atmosphere shifted to something more elegant and romantic, with a rich palette of burgundy and green setting the tone for the entire celebration.
The ceremony took place in a garden transformed especially for the occasion. A beautifully designed S-shaped aisle, enhanced by lush floral arrangements, guided guests towards the altar, where an abundant floral arch created a stunning focal point. Live violinists accompanied the ceremony, adding an intimate and romantic touch to the setting.
Following the ceremony, guests moved to another garden for cocktails, where a Tuscan-inspired buffet and drinks were served in an elegant outdoor setting. The floral arrangements, styling, and every little detail continued the burgundy and green theme, creating a seamless transition from the ceremony to the reception.
An Elegant Dinner Under the Lights
Dinner was truly the star of the show. Long tables dressed in rich burgundy tones were adorned with cascading hydrangeas, candles, and grapes, creating a lush and romantic tablescape. Overhead chandeliers added warmth and atmosphere, bringing the entire setting together for an unforgettable evening under the Tuscan sky.
After dinner, guests gathered in front of the villa for the cake cutting and champagne tower, followed by the first dances and an evening of celebrations.
Two days, two completely different atmospheres, and one beautiful celebration — thoughtfully designed to bring together the relaxed spirit of an Italian summer evening and the timeless elegance of a wedding in Tuscany.
