Dovile & Stephan’s Wedding at Villa Gamberaia
A Lithuanian bride, a Dutch groom, and three days of celebrations in the heart of Tuscany. Set at the beautiful Villa Gamberaia, overlooking Florence, this destination wedding brought together family and friends for a weekend filled with Italian food, timeless elegance, and unforgettable moments.
We had the pleasure of organizing the entire three-day celebration, from a fun and interactive welcome party to a refined old money-inspired wedding and a relaxed poolside gathering, taking care of every detail to create a seamless and personal experience for the couple and their guests.
Day One: A Tuscan Welcome Party
The celebrations kicked off with an outdoor pasta party at sunset, combining authentic Italian experiences with an elegant setting. Guests were surprised with a hands-on pasta-making class, where they prepared their own fresh pasta, later cooked and served by the catering team. Draped table linens, white and green floral arrangements, and a live Italian music trio completed the atmosphere for a relaxed yet refined evening in Tuscany.
Day Two: A Timeless Wedding at Villa Gamberaia
Inspired by the villa’s historic architecture, beautiful gardens, and timeless character, we designed an elegant old money-inspired wedding where every detail had its place. The day began with a romantic ceremony in the outdoor grotto, followed by cocktails on the terrace overlooking Florence and dinner at the Bowling Green, where an all-white and silver imperial table created a refined and timeless setting.
From the bride’s entrance, carefully timed to a specific moment in the ceremony song, to personalized napkins and a menu combining Italian cuisine with touches of the couple’s Lithuanian and Dutch heritage, everything was planned around their story and their guests. The evening continued in the illuminated grotto with the wedding cake and champagne tower, before moving to the courtyard for the party, with a photo booth cabin and personalized late-night snack wraps adding a more playful touch to the celebrations.
